University at a Glance

Quchan University of Technology is among the blessed and fruitful achievements of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this region of our beloved country, Iran, which was established in 2006 (1385 SH) under the title of Quchan Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Upon the issuance of license No. 7977/22 dated August 16, 2006 (25/5/1385) by the Higher Education Expansion Council, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology officially commenced its activities in February 2007 (Bahman 1385) with 70 students in two associate degree programs: Computer-Software and Telecommunications.

In 2009 (1388 SH), with the approval of the Higher Education Expansion Council, Quchan Faculty of Engineering and Technology was upgraded to the Quchan Higher Education Complex of Engineering and Technology. The authorization to upgrade the Quchan Higher Education Complex of Engineering and Technology to Quchan University of Advanced Technologies Engineering was granted in 2013 (1392 SH). Currently, Quchan University of Technology has approximately 3,000 students and 80 faculty members.
